Illegal Drug Use

It is a violation of FTC Publications, Inc. Policy and Federal Law to use, promote the use of, sell, or buy illegal or controlled substances without a valid medical prescription or Federal License to prescribe pharmaceuticals (drugs).  Members who partake in such activity will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, terminated, and banned from FTC Publications, Inc. events both public and private, including forfeiture of all pay and allowances.

All members, regardless of age and/or rank are subject to random illegal substance use screening.  Failure to submit to a lab request when called upon will result in immediate termination.

It is also a violation of FTC Publications, Inc. policy to promote, use, sell, or buy illegal controlled substances on Social Media.  Any account, regardless of status and/or rank will be referred to Federal Authorities and referred to the appropriate Social Media support enforcement which violates this policy.

Blocking, story hiding, private profiles, and all attempts to hide illegal substance use is not effective against the FTC Publications Corporate Security Team, which has view access to all Social Media accounts via agreements with Facebook/Instagram, Twitter, and Snap Chat.

Clarification on smoking policy:  FTC Publications, Inc. is a smoke-free workplace.  Full time employees are required to be non-smokers.  This keeps health insurance costs under control as nicotine has been proven to cause death, and results in increased costs to provide health insurance to the full-time employee base.

Misleading and/or lying to your Supervisor about your status as a smoker is cause for immediate termination.  Full-time employees who need help with cessation may approach their supervisors without risk of losing their job.

Smoking is defined as using any apparatus, electronic or otherwise that allows a person to inhale smoke (regardless of source) into their lungs and exhaling the smoke out of their lungs (without regard to the brand or apparatus that facilitates this function).

Inhaling water vapor does not constitute smoking, however inhaling nicotine violates the Company’s smoke free policy.
